I ordered the yum woonsen salad and green curry, and both dishes were good. However, the salad portion was quite small and priced at $11, nearly the same as the curry dishes. A price range of $6 to $8 would seem more reasonable. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. When we arrived, my baby was sleeping, so my husband stayed in the car while I went inside to order. After placing my order, I asked to see the menu and mentioned I would check on my husband. The waitress informed me that she had already put my order in for takeout and that I needed to notify her in advance if I wanted to dine in. Easily one of the best Thai restaurants in NoVA, which is awash in Thai restaurants. We've gone both the eat-in and take-out routes, and have always been utterly delighted with the food (both quality and quantity) and the service. The flavors are richand robust and utterly authentic. They are not kidding about those little pepper icons on the menu. This is Thai food notwatered down to American tastes.
Would give them 4.5 ? why can?t we 1/2 star? Food and service were both pretty good. Portion sizes are large. Half of everything went home with us. Tofu appetizer was enough for a meal. Green curry had lovely flavor and just enough heat. Goodamount of chicken and veg. Pad something #34 had a little sweetness and was rather tasty. Tofu was good too.
Great Thai spot , I usually just grab Shrimp Fried rice whenever I come here, sometimes I do the Shrimp Pad Thai as well !! I came with my buddies and we tried a couple of different things it was all good . I believe some of the recipes changed prior tothe new ownership! I still recommend giving this Thai restaurant a try it?s great ????????

As someone who's recently moved to the area, I was in search of a Thai restaurant and I'm thrilled to have found this hidden gem! The food is even more impressive than the Thai restaurant I frequented before. I tried the chicken red curry, spicy beef salad, Thai tea, and dumplings, and every dish was truly delicious.
I had the Pad Thai Ra Yong. It was pretty good. There wasn't much crab meat, but the jumbo prawns were good. The noodles were mostly sweet and had a lot of salt. I probably wouldn't get the dish again because it felt heavy with all the salt, sweetness,and starch, but maybe that's just pad Thai in general.
We tried the panang curry, tofu pad see ew, thai tea/coffee and curry puffs. All were excellent. The staff were very friendly and the service was quick. Excellent spot for lunch/dinner.
The food at Ghang Waan Thai is incredibly delicious, fresh, and full of flavor! The staff is also very friendly. I will definitely be returning!

This restaurant offers genuinely authentic Thai cuisine. The seafood is exceptional, featuring perfectly cooked shrimp, squid, and scallops.
A return to excellence! While it may not be Bea's anymore, the kitchen is once again serving up fantastic Thai dishes.
