This is a frequent local haunt for me, and I will keep going back. The food is delicious and the service friendly and courteous always. Their massaman beef curries among the best you'll find anywhere, the red duck curry and the duck salad equally yummy. A friend swears that the fish curry is the best he's had anywhere. Prices are pretty standard lowish for a suburban Thai eatery. You will have to squeeze in to the limited seating which is not the most comfortable arrangement to be found, and the blazing lights from above and from teh kitchen which is right on top of diners might not make for a romantic atmosphere. There'll be a constant coming and going through the sliding door for take-away...
I have eaten at Thai Thai several times since moving to Sydney late last year. It has become a regular choice for me because of their wonderful, flavourful food, friendly, homely service and cozy decor.<br/ <br/ Thai Thai serves traditional Thai cuisine and some of my favourite dishes are the Masaman Curry, which is beautifully rich and bold with tender, melt-in-your-mouth beef as well as the Chicken Pad-Thai, which is my go-to lunch feast. The spring rolls are also a fantastic addition to any lunchtime order.<br/ <br/ Thanks Thai Thai for the great food!
Thai Thai is a same same but different hole-in-the-wall joint with a solid Thai following on Botany Road Alexandria/Redfern. Our friend Rohan is a used idea salesman. He has a beard and listens to ABC Radio National. Most of his used ideas are of an abstract scientific nature or involve drinking until falling down. But occasionally he comes up with something useful, such as trying out Thai Thai on Botany Road in Alexandria Redfern.
Try the speciality! Beef noodle either dry or wet! Amazing bowl of noodles, beef and super chilli! This is a hidden gem, I walked passed it for weeks and didn't ever give it a second look until someone recommended it. Really good food, really super cheap! Go across the road to gelato for dessert

Nothing to write home about but decent quick and basic Thai. Classic Formica-type Thai. Nothing fancy- but he best around here- why is is so hard to find something awesome (or descent) in Redfern?
Love this little place for quality authentic and inexpensive lunch meals. The pork Larb is awesome and the service friendly. The menu is quite extensive so I plan to expand my choices next time.
