Review UPDATE: After my assessment we were three times in this bakery. They ran out of the camp every time. Our last visit was at 2:00. Remember that they close at 3:00. An employee started to sweep the floor right around us when we had eaten, as well as cleaning tables. We have the message: Get out because we want to go home. In addition, coffee is good, but at room temperature. It looks like they don't heat the milk. We're disappointed. Since this info was not obviously notated anywhere.... it's street parking (if you know the area you probably already knew that). But the blocks are tiny, so if you have to park a street or two over, no biggie. It's a seat yourself place, diner-style. You order and pay up front, you get a number and take your seat. I've purposely avoided French restaurants since most are beyond my price range. And I really never had French food, so didn't want to pay a lot for something I might not like. Always crowded, yet we've always been able to find a seat. We went for a Sunday brunch at 11. The line was short and we had a choice of tables. But by 11:20 the line went all the way to the door and every seat was taken. The Classic French Toast comes with 2 giant slices covered in maple syrup and whipped cream. Great on a cold weather day. We also picked up a 3 chocolate and a lemon tart to take home for evening desserts. Food is great! Best quiche around. However, to get an order of Quiche and breakfast potatoes which cost in the $13 range delivered, with the regular Door Dash fees and tip PLUS your $8.99 delivery charge the total charge is just shy of $30. Now you've become unaffordable. Why? Do you just not need the business? Are delivery customers being punished for not coming in? I just can't justify paying the fee. I've lived in France twice, and this place felt pretty authentic to me; they even had the cafe style chairs that you find at cafés in France. I went there with my mom and we were both very impressed. We split French toast and it was very tasty as was the apple tart I brought home with me. I hope to go back again soon, I want to try the quiche!
An American take on the French pastry and dishes but it’s executed really poorly. While the presentation of pastries/deserts was nice, the taste was very mediocre. I have definitely had better croissants and quiches.The service was nice though.
Quiche Lorraine was tasty, coffee strong and flavorful, and croissant crispy outside with soft chewy insides.Side salad didn 't have enough dressing. The cashier was a young woman that my friend described as frozen. To my mind, she was stoned.
