The food was delicious! I had a quiche Lorraine, while my wife enjoyed a creamy cauliflower cheese soup served with a slice of white bloomer bread. My Earl Grey tea came with a tea strainer and extra hot water, which was a nice touch that I often have to ask for elsewhere. My wife was pleasantly surprised to be offered a free glass of filtered water.
Overall, the service was excellent, and the food was delightful. The salad came with a balsamic-style dressing, which was also tasty. We had a great time today, and while the view is nice, it might be even better on a different day. We're definitely planning to return!
This restaurant boasts excellent staff who provide quick service and efficient order handling. The soup is outstanding, with both the mushroom and chicken noodle varieties clearly made from scratch. We enjoyed a delicious torstop garnet disc made from crusty bread, accompanied by a generous serving of clean, crispy fries. To top it all off, we had a cappuccino and a large slice of Battenberg cake. All of this came to an incredible value of just £21.00, and the service was exceptional alongside the high quality of the food.
It was a spontaneous idea to grab something to eat here before moving on to Conniston Water. What a find! Lots of healthy eating dishes as well as some lovely sandwiches and cakes. I settled for the Sesame Chicken with noodle salad. Wow!! So fresh and tasty. Would recommend it highly. The cafe is upstairs above the shop so to speak but there is also a lift. Thank you Lakeland.
I had a wonderful afternoon with friends on Sunday, June 4th, celebrating a birthday. The tea was beautifully presented on a lovely tray, and it was truly delicious. Our waitress went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience, and she even packed our leftovers for us to take home. I highly recommend this place, and I definitely plan to return!

Excellent food try the salads! The price may seem a bit on the higher side but it's absolutely worth every penny. All the food around us looks stunning. Amazing espresso from a true barista machine. Great views from the rooftop bar.
