We used to frequent this pub often in the past, but heard that it had changed ownership, so we decided to meet our friends here. We were excited to catch up with friends we hadn't seen in a while. However, when we arrived, my husband inquired about their ale selection and was informed they only had Harveys with no other options. The server who brought our drinks had dirty fingernails, which was off-putting. The food at this restaurant was excellent and the staff was very attentive. They were also very accommodating to our children, and we appreciated that they are dog-friendly. We loved the cozy atmosphere with the open fire. The price per person is around £40-50. Overall, we rated the food, service, and atmosphere a 4 out of 5.
