My wife and I visited The Hawthorn for the first time on 20th October to attend a wedding meal in the private dining room. I had the Whitby Crab starter and the Dexter Ribeye steak served rare. The starter was delicious and beautifully presented, and the ribeye steak was really tasty and so tender it melted in my mouth. My wife had the fondue starter and the whole bream, and she loved both. The staff are so professional and friendly, and no request was too much for them. The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and cozy, which was particularly enjoyed on the rainy evening we visited Haworth! First of all, the food is exquisite it really is wonderful. The flavours I especially recommend the fish a few times. I have visited this restaurant but this time it was for our wedding and it was absolutely top notch. Also, I will say that the staff are very attentive and really make sure that you feel like you are having a wonderful time. The cocktails are wonderful and if you want a private venue in the upstairs room, it is absolutely the best place to be in. Haworth Georgian decor and beautiful candle it scenes and you really feel as though you are having a wonderful party. I highly recommend the Hawthorn. It is a wonderful place to have a exquisite and extra special meal.
Our experience started the moment we walked in through the door, staff were polite and attentive.. We both ordered steak, all the fantastic reviews about the Hawthorn are true , and then some, amazing meal.. Well worth the expense. I had a wonderful Sunday dinner at this restaurant. The service was excellent, and we chose to dine in for lunch. The price per person was between £20-£30.
