I was at the Mattatuck Museum to attend a meeting and decided to shop, visit the exhibitions and have some lunch from Yum. I believe they catered the breakfast buffet that was available during the meeting and it was fabulous. It is not often that you get to enjoy a stick to your ribs breakfast when attending a business meeting but The Art of Yum provided one of the best that I have experienced in quite some time. Absolutely a delicious surprise. The food was incredibly delicious. My daughter treated me for a birthday dinner. It was our first time there. I can say the food was fresh, good quality, great service great atmosphere. We will definitely come back! I am so grateful for the boss/owner who took a chance to a dream of a local menu that reaches every taste of adventure. Working at a high-tech school where culinary is a huge class, you talk volumes of what anyone can do with culinary passion! I would love you to talk to our culinary children to tell them there is no limit to what you can achieve! You rock!
This restaurant in Waterbury and it's sister in Southington needs more attention! At the Waterbury location, host Daniel D. Arrington, dapper in a smart suit, greeted us and made sure with were comfy including feeding a bottle to our baby. We had the Shrimp and Grits. Vegan Nachos with cream of tomato soup. Yumm! In Southington We had the Perfect Chicken Sammich with housemade pickle Louisiana hot sauce, lettuce and tomato with a side of Cheese Grits. Vegan Burrito crisp vegan burger, avocado, pickled vegetable, vegan ranch, arugula. The chefs are world class along with service.
This review is for the food truck. I had a cheeseburger. The worst waste of money $10 $9 tip) and worst cheeseburger I’ve EVER had. Tiny burger 1/2 the size of the bun), totally overcooked with a dry, stale bun. And they don’t even offer mayo or bbq sauce. What kind of food truck serves hot dogs and hamburgers without the works? Just mustard, relish, ketchup. Also, served in styrofoam??! Come on! Certainly did not make me curious about the restaurant the opposite.

Was thrilled to open it for lunch on Tuesday. Friendly staff tried the Korean shrimp tacos and chicken soup specials of the day and it was amazing! Perfectly diced with fresh vegetables and green. Tried a dessert lemon mochi that was amazing! Good selection of drinks including kombucha. The upper floor terrace deck was a beautiful place for lunch overlooking the green. Very recommended!
I was in town for a memorial service this is walking distance from the Marriott. They were very busy they only had one waiter . They had takeouts going , doordash ,they had catering service going on and they a full dining room. We saw what was going on , their business is booming .So we waited and it was worth the wait.
Great cozy place, came as a recommendation. Grits were very cheeky and creamy as I like them. The servers were pleasant and attentive. Nice for all ages. Parking and seats are decent. I'll be back
Avocado toast usually comes with avocado. This one had a hint of green but no hint of taste of avocado and it cost $16. Even the staff seem unhappy. No plan to return.

I had ordered lunch at the Southington location. It was great tasty and the food was made quickly. We did take out. This is the Chicken Tahini rice bowl.
The food was superb and I don't use this set loosely. I was glad to come here because the food felt at home. Great work and great staff.
