Our reservation was for 17:30 and we arrived to a very quiet restaurant where we were offered the choice of tables. We were immediately offered our choice of waters and presented with menus. Upon ordering, wine came immediately and we received a complimentary warm pastry/small roll . The remaining courses were served in short order without any sense of waiting or being rushed. Staff were friendly and welcoming; the experience and the meal were wonderful.
The food was excellent. Servers were friendly and helpful. The restaurant is fitted into a refurbished gracious Victorian style house. The space available for the restaurant is the basement. It is clean and pleasant for a basement, but it is difficult to create a luxurious ambiance in that space. Nevertheless, the food and servers make up for that to some extent. I would certainly recommend the unique cuisine.
A lovely delicious dinner in this charming restaurant! The food was amazing and the service so gracious. Can’t wait to come back!
