The service and view are among the best on Maui! Try to get your reservation during sunset. It's a jaw dropping panoramic view. They do a 3 course prix fixe menu only, but you can order an extra app, entree or dessert and they elevate your fixed price. I have to say, we were underwhelmed by our apps (pork ribs and saffron risotto) but they were beautifully plated. Ribs were overcooked and risotto was undercooked and we had to ask for salt to finish it. For our entrees we got lamb shank and American Wagyu ribeye, which looked (and tasted) much more like a Kansas City strip. And it was kind of tough. The lamb shank was the winner of the night! This place is absolutely stunning! Daniel gave the best service making our 15 year anniversary a special one. From the wine menu, to the alcohol Daniel was highly knowledgeable and recommended the perfect drinks to pair with our food. His knowledge on the food was also superlative!! They gave us the most beautiful table overlooking the beautiful ocean with breathtaking views of the sunset. I love mamas kitchen but this place stole my heart! I'm so happy we came here. The Australian truffles on my ribeye was to die for, the desserts, the appetizers, everything remarkable! Truly this night made our stay a forever memorable one.
The best place to dine under the beautiful stars! Our outdoor dining table was situated where it was tucked away in a private, cozy, spacious area! It really felt intimate and offered one of the most unique dining experiences I have had! The cuisine was masterful! It was innovative with dishes that were familiar and comforting while also introducing new bold flavors I have never had that was exciting and offered that “OH WOW, I have never had Pork Ribs like this before!” You must try their beets and Kona kanpachi with clams and MUST MUST MUST have their coconut cake! Wish it was on Goldbelly good!
Great experience and ambience! My husband got the 3 course with pork ribs (highly recommend), lamb shank, and the lime tart. I wasn't as hungry and got only a la carte saffron risotto and tiramisu. My favorite was definitely the pork ribs, and lamb shank had a ton of meat to share! We were both very full. We sat on the balcony and watched the sunset, which was a major plus as we only booked the reservation with 2 days' notice.
