Just been for dinner here and it was superb! Seafood risotto for me and fish cakes for my partner both amazing! Ive actually never had such a great risotto I then had the crumble and custard which was massive and again anazing, my partner opted for the mini brownie and coffee but the brownie was a pretty decent size not really mini well worth the money, great food, great service and our new favourite eating spot
Booking a table was so easy. We just did it on line. We got there 10 minutes early and got straight onto our table. Service was reasonable considering how busy it was. Really friendly staff who looked after us without being over powering. The food was exceptional and plenty of it. This was our first visit. It will not be our last. Thank you
Great pub, and very dog friendly. Arrived to a lovely warm welcome from the landlady warmed up by the fire with a nice brew then enjoyed a really tasty Fish 'n ' Chips I would highly recommend this! Also enjoyed at our table Lamb Shank, Wagu and Aberdeen Angus burgers. Great food and atmosphere.

Me and my dad were served by David, Ee had great service by him the atmosphere was 10/10 the food was up to spectacular standers and the restaurant itself is on another scale. 10/10 thank you David!!, also David kept a very kind and funny atmosphere whilst serving us and many others.
8 of us had a meal Monday night, all really enjoyed it. Despite being busy they managed to get us a table together. I had salmon and it was lovely. Great banter with the staff and Carol I think in the stripy top. Thankyou from the Manchester crew x
Great food and beer. Waiting staff superb, attentive without being in our faces. Beer changed between 2 pints and barman brought second after cask replacement and changed pint even though I said it was a cloudy real ale and tasted perfect.
We only drove to ponteland for a snowball fight (which I won) but despite it being quite busy managed to get a table, the food was absolutely beautiful and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Good food options. Dish wa larger than I expected but the menu does have lighter options too. Service was good and so was the decor. The triple cooked chips were much better than most I have come across.
Excellent Sunday dinner with a generous portion size. Really friendly and attentive service by all staff we came across. Can’t fault any aspect of our visit even the kids behaved! We will return!
