The Bakers Wife - Tisch reservieren

Love the ambience of this spacious cafe the exposed brick walls and colourful mural certainly set the scene. It’s very much a brunch style menu and I enjoyed the poached eggs and bacon on sour dough bread. BUT the bacon was a very thick version not the thin, crispy style usually served. Plus it was a huge serving which I could not finish: largely because it was not cooked to my liking. The charcoal grill stripes indicated it had been partially cooked, but it wasn’t particularly hot. The eggs, however, were poached to perfection! The staff seemed very pleasant and the coffee was good.

As per my review title !! Thank you for being 100% consistent every single time. There are very few places that are consistent on my list this is one of them. Always enjoy the noisy, quirky friendly nature of this place. Indoors or outside it 's always been great. though I am not a big fan of customers bringing in their dogs that are clearly not 'assistance dogs ' I am sure that no one is bending the rules for customer 's fury friends.

We made a booking for this cafe for breakfast and boy am I glad we did. It was extremely busy. Service was fantastic. Waiters were very attentive. I had the eggsparugus and boy was it it good. For me I found this to be enough, but like some other posts the others in my group found their servings to be quite small. Overall a nice breakfast. Bakery items looked amazing.

There is a lovely alfresco courtyard in the back great spot in good weather to have a lovely meal. The green bowl was fresh and an adequate size, the corn fritters were just the right consistency, the Eggs benedicte and french toast were also generous portions

Had a lovely brunch here with good coffee. Menu had plenty of options and the bakery had a variety of delicious treats on offer.
