I came in search of a money exchange shop so that I could exchange my last £20 into dollars and instead ended up in a cafe spending money I can't afford to spend but I don't regret it. I got a bowl of salad and at first I was disappointed because it had hardly any smoked salmon on the top but then I found that the salad was in layers and there was actually loads of everything. It was really delicious and the cheapest salad I've seen in Melbourne that consists of more than 1 ingredient and more than 7 leaves. visit falling on the wrong day, we still had a great experience. The service was prompt and friendly, and the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the pasta dish I ordered. The prices were very reasonable, even without the half-price deal. I will definitely be coming back on a Tuesday next time to take advantage of the discount. Highly recommend this restaurant for a tasty and affordable meal.
I have been living in Melbourne for over a year and I truly believe that Banff is one of the best, if not the best cafe I have been to. The staff is always extremely friendly and, most importantly, the food and coffee, especially the hot chocolate, were the best I have had in Melbourne. I am a regular at Banff on Fitzroy Street and wouldn't trade it for any other place. Even though Andy and Deb have moved on, Alessia is doing a fantastic job. I loved it. It was quiet on the night I went with some friends and could not choose what I wanted. So much and all so good. The beer could have been colder in the bottle but it was like 40+ C outside on that day I went. Meal was beautiful and staff great
