The food was OK but the service was poor. My brother and I popped in for lunch having seen signs on the main road. I wish I had read the reviews first! We were sat in the outside teepee which was OK as it was heated. Our order for teas and food was taken. The teas arrived, we drank the teas, waited, and waited but no food came. I caught the eye of a server who went to check for us but no order had been given to the kitchen. A fresh order was taken and it wasn't long then before the food arrived. Bearing in mind we were on a mission to get somewhere, we wasted ill-afforded time. What was annoying was that there were at least three servers moving in and out of the tepee and not one came to che...
My friend and I were excited to try out this new restaurant, but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The service from the management and kitchen staff was terrible. Only two of the ladies there actually acknowledged us, while the rest treated us poorly and ignored our requests. Despite telling the server that my friend is allergic to avocado, she still brought us an avocado chicken wrap, which could have been dangerous. It seems like the kitchen staff either can't read or cook properly. It's a shame because we had high hopes for this place, but after today, we will not be returning and will be warning others not to go there as well. Thank you to the two ladies who were kind...
Festive afternoon tea birthday treat.Went with family a bit of a wait for our table although we had booked.Hot drinks arrived I had turkish apple tea.The food did arrive but took over an hour.So ordered more drinks.We had salmon and cream cheese tartlets,pigs in blankets and a brioche bun with feta and cranberry.The scones were good although my personal preference is strawberry jam or anything without all the seeds as in raspberry.The cakes were lovely christmas cake ,chocolate brownie and mince tart.Would recommend booking as gets busy.Only gave 4 stars because of the wait for the food.
I rolled up with a couple of friends for lunch, didn't think to book, really busy inside, with lots of tables reserved.. lucky it was sunny although slightly chilly but they supplied blankets, we had a look at the menu and I decided to go for quiche of the day with salad and coleslaw wonderful enjoyed every bit my friends had panini' s which they both enjoyed, and we all had cake to follow again all were lovely definitely recommend, but would book I future
