My girlfriend and I went to this restaurant for her birthday dinner. Unfortunately, we found the food menu to be very basic and limited. The kitchen made a mess of a simple BLT sandwich, which I only took three bites of before giving up. The portion of french fries was extremely small and consisted mostly of broken scraps. The communication between the table server and food servers was poor, with our flatware forgotten three times during our meal. My first cocktail, the Honey '75, was undrinkable. Our server was attentive and apologetic, but the manager did not address the issues until we were already leaving. The atmosphere was decent at first, but it quickly deteriorated as college student...
The food at this restaurant was fantastic, but unfortunately they are no longer accepting Open Table reservations. Despite receiving a confirmation email from Open Table, we arrived to find that our reservation was not honored. It is recommended to call the restaurant directly to make a reservation. Luckily, they were able to accommodate us with a table in the bar since they were fully booked. The restaurant informed us that they have stopped using Open Table for reservations.
We were walk-ins the day before at 5:30 and although the restaurant and outdoor patio were nearly empty we weren't seated, but using Open Table we booked for 5 the following day. We enjoyed the patio, had great cocktails, service and food, but found the host rather cold and distant, even if with a reservation. Despite being adjacent to a well-known New England college, we wondered if our experience had anything to do with being two men dining together.
This restaurant, located in the Williams Inn, is elegant and stylish. We specifically came for the restaurant, but the inn also impressed us with its tasteful decor. The food was delightful and expertly presented, the service was friendly and impeccable. We had brunch here and found the prices to be reasonable. It was the ideal spot to dine before visiting The Clarke Institute's Munch exhibit. We are even considering staying at the inn in the future. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Four of us enjoyed a delightful Sunday Brunch at the Barn. Eggs Benedict and Avocado Toast were two favorites. The only food disappointment was that the Beyond Burger mentioned in the on-line menu wasn't available. The service was attentive and the ambiance quiet enough that we could enjoy our company. We will rebook on our next visit to Williamstown.
Just ok. First off...it's brunch on Saturday. We order decaf and it's cold. Hmm. My falafels were definitely old and fried more than once. Hard has carbon. Rest of the meal unremarkable at best. Tables are close to each other so I definitely wanted to whisper so my neighbors didn't hear all my business.
Delicious food and nice atmosphere service was polite and intentful but not quite up to the upscale atmosphere suggested by the restaurant ambience.
The food is delicious and the portions are just right (I prefer smaller portions), but the service is very slow, which lowers the overall rating. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Our food was delicious and our waitress Rachel was the best as usual!!! Looking forward to our next meal there !!!
