This is a delightful place to visit. However, they refused to allow me to sit and feed my baby yesterday because he is under 18. Despite it being half past ten in the morning and no cafes being open on High Street, I was told that feeding my newborn was not allowed. I was also attempting to make a purchase - just a half pint of lemonade. It seemed unfair that they were able to play pool and drink alcohol at that time of day, yet I couldn't offer my son a drink. It was disappointing to realize that this establishment, which I thought was a public house for everyone, appeared to cater only to alcoholics.
Visited on an empty weekday afternoon and wouldn’t serve me because I had my 12 year old son with me. Dogs are allowed but kids aren’t? Says it all No wonder Witherspoons around the corner is packed and this place is empty
Good place to watch sports, but the staff was incredibly miserable. It seemed like a struggle for them to serve drinks, with one of them constantly on her phone and being rude to customers all night.
During our week in Barry, we needed a place to watch the Euros final. Joe helped us find a great table and provided good conversation. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the result.
