I love this place! A quick place to get casual food, and then I stay for the beautiful view. Outdoor seating. Eat there or take out. Right on the beach. Close to parking. Very relaxing. Average prices. Hamburgers, fries, fish and chips, coffee. About 30 flavours of soft serve ice cream. I go here each time I visit my mum on Vancouver Island. If the weather isn't the best, I like to take out and sit in my car with my food overlooking the water. Lovely just to stare at the water by myself or with a friend. Open all summer until sometime in September, depending on the weather. A fun, casual place to be. I definitely want to go back on my next visit!
We ordered a one piece cod and one piece halibut fish and chips. The owner was nice enough to come tell us there might not be cod and we could change or cancel our order, which we didnt. Luckily there was 2 more Cods so we did end up getting our order, and the owner was nice enough to come apologize for the misunderstanding, which to begin with was no bother at all. This kind of customer service really puts a place over others!! The food was good, not too greasy as sometimes these are, loved it. Considered going back the next day even
The patio is a lovely place to relax. I tried the Pina Colada soft serve ice cream; the taste was decent, but the view and atmosphere were fantastic. The staff was friendly as well. I only discovered after placing my order that you could mix flavors, which would have been a nice option to try!
Great can't best the view staff is always friendly. Today's visit was just ice cream and coffee. In the past we've had the fish and chips and it was yummy. The onion rings the people next to us were having smelled good and looked plentiful. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Delicious! We sampled both the halibut and cod fish and chips, and we were extremely satisfied. The view is unbeatable—it's a fantastic spot to enjoy fish and chips while taking in the beach and the stunning whitecapped mountains of Canada!
We went for our first smokies of the season, and yes, they're open! However, my husband was disappointed that they didn't have mushrooms for his smokie. We hope they bring them back soon!
Excellent selection of ice cream flavors and of course it's right on the beach....what else do you need...family to enjoy it with...mmmm we have it...
