The staff are incredibly friendly, creating a welcoming environment where all worries seem to melt away as soon as you walk through the door. We had a fantastic birthday lunch with family members ranging from 82 to 16 years old. Thank you for a memorable experience - we all left with smiles on our faces.
What a great surprise… popped in for an afternoon pint in the autumn sun and at a loss as what to cook tonight I saw the Saturday night steak deal… two steaks and a bottle of wine for £35!! Impressed by the offering we booked and returned… great bottle of red and two of the best quality steaks we’ve had out for a long time… lovely peppercorn sauce too! Staff were great, thank you and well done… we’ll be back very soon.
We were greeted warmly and the service was outstandingly friendly. The menu offered a great selection of traditional pub lunches. The food was delicious, with generous portions, especially the tasty crumble and custard dessert. We have visited this restaurant for lunch several times and have always had a great experience. We will definitely be returning in the future.

We’ve been meaning to visit all the pubs local to Haddenham since we arrived, pre Covid, 2 years ago. Fantastic beer garden that caters for all ages, hugely beautiful setting at the heart of the village, great character building and the staff can’t do enough for you. Oh, and the best pint of London Pride for a Country mile. Well done.
We booked in for a meal to break our journey and what a lovely surprise. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was superb. I would definitely recommend the hallibut beautifully cooked and served with seasonal veg. A good selection of beers were on offer too.
Lovely pub restaurant we haven’t been here since our daughter was young .friendly warm welcoming staff , Dinner was very good rack of ribs and ham egg and chips bigger menu If you want . Ambience was lovely . Won’t leave it so long to visit next time
Pleasant old pub, cosy but spacious Fullers pub so fullers prices. Sunday roasts were really nice, wife had a veggie option, we rang beforehand and they said they would do a veggie option of vegetables. Staff attentive nice atmosphere!

This pub has a lot going for it. In a small village. Very good beer on hand pump which is well kept. Friendly service. Standard pub food, well produced and also more unusual food items. We will return.
A proper pub with good beer, hearty food and a warm welcome. The wood burner makes it perfect for a winter warm up.
