A beautiful pub/restaurant in an ideal location. The staff are lovely welcoming helping make a very warm relaxing environment. We both had a Sunday roast , to my wife’s annoyance as i consider myself a good home chef i am very critical . The lunch we received was phenomenal, an amazing completely home cooked believe me you can tell , no thrills , bells whistles just a great honest English roast where every single morsel was cooked lovingly to perfection the taste was an honor to my palate , don’t even get me started on the homemade gravy yorkshire pudding , the service was also fantastic, very happy , always there if you needed anything but never obtrusive . We are on holiday but my stepson...
My experience at Stow on the Wold was wonderful. On a rainy day, we had a fantastic roast dinner that exceeded our expectations. The portion of meat was generous, with a good selection of vegetables. The gravy was plentiful and the Yorkshire pudding was perfect. The setting was lovely and the service was excellent. I would definitely go back. The only downside was that the meal was so filling, we didn't have room for dessert!
I had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant and would highly recommend the pheasant dish. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I didn't feel rushed at all and was able to enjoy my meal, wine, and coffee at a leisurely pace. I will definitely be coming back here in the future.
Had a great Sunday roast at The Bell. Food was delicious. Service was a bit random due to one poor woman trying to manage everything on her own. Didn’t spoil our experience though. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
What yummy food at this great pub. Can highly recommend the vension phesant venison sausages with mash, cavolo nero with very tasty gravy. Brownies excellent too.
Great hotel, nice rooms attentive staff and fresh shortbread biscuits and port in room nice touch. Breakfast choice good too. Also ghost in bar added interest.
