Been a few times to the bell for Sunday lunch, first class carvery, staff are friendly and helpful, always busy so you do need to book and also that the carvery is on as sometimes they do a BBQ if the weather is good. Lovely Sunday roast. Lovely and hot and fresh. Nice atmosphere. Nice traditional pub. Music in background good too, from era i like. Too many pubs have rappy loud unintelligible music that isn't conducive to relaxing. 80s music best in my opinion. Definitely recommend, this fun local pub. Higgledy piggledy local pub, not trying to impress, just to meet locals needs, which it does very well. My first time here for a Sunday lunch and wow was it delicious! (Must take a photo next time) we had honeycomb cheesecake for after, omg it was amazing service quick and very pleasant. Qaint pub . Kiddy friendly .large child friendly garden. Lovely staff and locals ... Parking . and food looked great cheap beers and ales .. no peaky blinders. .. not far from canale .. ramblers you must stop for that top up . Food not available between 3 and 6 I believe .
Without a doubt one of the best pubs I've ever been to. We go semi regularly. Extremely helpful friendly staff good food and drinks are reasonably priced
