I was producing a small shoot near the Ben Jonson pub and was looking for a local business to provide food for my crew and cast. Jono the manager and the chef provided us with a delicious service that our team loved. I look forward to going back to the Ben Jonson pub to enjoy their selection of beers and the nice atmosphere. I went to see if I could book for a wake at very short notice, Kevin was very considerate and understanding and said he could help (one thing less for me to worry about) On the day the buffet food was excellent and plenty of it, I couldn't have asked for anything more. Will definitely be back to sample the evening menu. Food: 5 Service: 5
Walked in for some lunch. Sat down at a table by the bar and waited to be served. The guy serving put our menus on the bar and said “there you go boys”. Continued to serve people around us, empty and reload the dishwasher all whilst we waited ignoring us. We walked out after 20 minutes waiting. Shame Service: 1

Not been to this pub since was taken over in 2019 , what great job they have done . Shame they will be leaving soon ,let's hope new landlords can keep up good work when they take over .
