There are times when I'm grateful to have this venue to let others know when I come across a business I find truly exceptional. Labelle Winery in very way reaches that standard. It's not easy to get a table here which attests to their popularity. Though my wife and I stumbled across this business we were luckily able to get a table thanks to a last minute cancellation. Service was excellent; the waitstaff are friendly and efficient. The wine is just lovely and so were mixed drinks. The place is beautiful and inviting. Regarding the food, the bread basket is lovely, delicious. Desserts were spectacular--the Turtle Cheese cake and Chocolate Butterscotch Decadence. The French Onion soup is perfect. However, the mussels were very disappointing. The broth/sauce was flavorless and relatively missing--just a little bit pooled underneath the mussels. The dining experience was elevated by the upscale food, with delightful little touches that brought the dishes to life. The moist, flavorful lamb meatballs were accompanied by a rich tomato sauce and pita bread. The mussels, cooked in a wine and garlic sauce with purple basil, were perfectly prepared—juicy and not at all dry. The Caprese salad was good, but adding heirloom tomatoes would enhance its flavor, while the burrata was simply perfect. The Bistro is one of our favorite spots to eat. The food, service and atmosphere are fantastic. The wines are great and there is a full bar if wine isn't your thing. They change up the menu periodically which is fun. If you are there at lunch, I highly recommend the Chicken Salad Wrap which has wine soaked cranberries among other tasty ingredients. The crispy buffalo cauliflower appetizer is also amazing as are the new salted caramel wings (I was skeptical but WOW! . We also highly recommend the events there (and the Derry location . We have seen some great bands and been to some fabulous special meals (Valentine's Sinatra in Love and Easter brunch . All around an amazing place.
Went to LaBelle today to give it another chance after a bad experience years ago. When we got there, we were told they just seated a bunch of people and it could take half an hour for food. No problem except there was hardly anyone there. I ordered the feta and watermelon salad and it was horrible. The watermelon was soggy and had some odd perfume like taste to it. I asked if they had sparkling water and they only had large bottles, no individual size ones. Something is just off about this place.
I had already perused the menu in advance and decided on the Lobster Benedict, which turned out to be delicious and cooked to perfection! The potatoes were crisp and had a nice chew to them. The Bistro is a charming venue that strikes the perfect balance between casual and upscale dining. I will definitely return and hope to sit outside on their beautiful patio next time. It’s also very easy to locate right off Route 101, with great signage along the road as well!
I can't say enough about the excellent service we received from our server, Ruby. My friend and I hadn't seen one another in years and kept chatting without looking at the menu. Ruby's recommendations for multiple starters were spot on (the prime rib poutine was delicious). She was attentive without interrupting. We sat outside, which was lovely but talked so late into the night that they allowed us to move inside to the bar. We will definitely be back.
My fiancé and I had a fantastic experience at Labelle! Our server, Aidan, was incredibly friendly and answered all of our questions about the menu. Our food and drinks were served quickly and were absolutely perfect! We shared the cheese board and each enjoyed a glass (or two!) of some wonderfully refreshing white wine. The food was great, and the service was even better. We will definitely be returning!
