Went for the Sunday roast which was nice. I’m vegetarian and the vegan pie was nice a little more pastry than filling ratio. The vegetables seemed frozen cooked and the potatoes were boiled not roasted which was a real shame. Overall a lovely environment, very attentive staff and the service was quick. What really was quite surprising and let the experience down was at 13:05 on a Sunday afternoon, they had run out of milk. No teas, coffees or hot chocolate. Pretty unforgivable in a modern restaurant and why couldn’t they have popped over the road to get some from the garage or shop?? Hence a 3*
Thank you to a very lovely and hard working manager. The food was perfect for what we needed and they coped very well on such a busy Thursday with very few staff. Please be kind to the staff as they are doing a brilliant job with very few members of the team.
Top quality food and excellent service. We both had Turkey dinner with all the trimmings classic Christmas pudding which was perfectly cooked, very well presented and was delicious. I would highly recommend. Thank you for a very pleasant evening.
Breakfast with Santa, was a lovely experience for myself and my 3 year old granddaughter. Very well organised and a delicious breakfast we were looked after very well by Dale and her team. Thank you and thank you santa

The beer and food at this restaurant are excellent. I don't understand the negative reviews from other people. The mixed grill is fantastic and the beer is top-notch. Dayle, the manager, is also amazing at her job.
Absolutely excellent experience, went with a disabled person access was excellent they had a quiet area that was provided by superb management. Food is excellent and really well priced. Highly recommend.
Dale and her staff are very accommodating. My son is autistic and struggles with food, but they were able to make adjustments for him. The service is always excellent. Thank you!

I recently went to have breakfast with Santa and the staff were excellent, the food was fantastic, and the kids really enjoyed it.
