Arrived for a family meal celebrating my special birthday the staff were very friendly and accommodating right from the start which carried through to our meal. We are in the restaurant and cannot fault it lovely food, beautifully presented and decent portions we had starters and main courses (a mixture of the normal and a la carte menus) and had no room (unfortunately) for dessert. Have recommended to friends already and will be back.
Excellent dining experience and service. We gathered as a family and thoroughly enjoyed the very affordable festive three-course lunch. The only downside was the mulled wine trifle, which consisted of a peculiar gel with hard nuts on the bottom, and it was missing the sponge fingers, fruit, and custard. However, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would love to return!
what a little jewel of an inn! We wish we had found you earlier. the soup was from this world and the lincolnshire Scotch-Ei was divine. like the steak and lamb street dinner. we enjoyed every second Sunday afternoon with them today. the young waiter james was exceptional, so please pass on our comments. we're coming back. I don't want to.
