Great little cocktail bar. We went on a Friday night. There was about a 15 minute wait on the door. Once inside we took a seat at the bar. Was a nice dark, Ristic atmosphere , 'cobwebs on the lights, dusty bookshelfs ' kinda style Their menu has plenty of unique cocktails but they 're also more than happy to do the classics too. They also do fireball with fresh made apple juice which tasted absolutely amazing. After about 20 minutes it started getting crowded and more busy which was a bit much for our liking so we finished up and left. Would definitely visit again but maybe on a weeknight or even earlier in the night. Price per person: A$40–60
I'd give them zero stars if I could. I've reported the following issue to Liquor & Gaming NSW. I was enjoying my evening until a security guard spilled my drink all over me and then proceeded to forcibly remove me from the venue. It turns out that the security guard's identification was expired, and I was treated like a criminal while being escorted out. Afterward, they told me to just go home and not to worry about it. The staff were arrogant and showed a blatant disregard for their customers. They don't deserve to be part of our community. DO NOT GO HERE. Atmosphere: 1 star.
I had an incredible two-night stay here while visiting family in the area. As an American, I can confidently say that the pulled pork, fries, and jalapeño poppers are the best I've ever tasted (I'm drooling just thinking about them!). Along with the fantastic food, they also offer a great selection of craft beers, and Ben and the other bartenders are fantastic – they're worth the visit just to have a chat with them. Thank you all; I’ll definitely be back next time!
It was quite loud on Saturday, but the place had a vibrant energy! I really appreciate the friendly bartenders who are very knowledgeable about their drinks. It has a charming and unique vibe. Burgers are amazing and came out quick even on the busy Saturday night. Good range of cocktails. Don’t expect good conversation between the music and loud chatter though. Got to get close and personal with your date to hear them ; Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
