When our food was finally returned, the pork had a rancid smell, which made it seem unsafe to eat. Still, we received no visit from a manager when we asked for the pork to be removed from our bill. After we settled our payments, the manager appeared, claiming she had just arrived, despite having seen her walking around before we paid for our disappointing meals. She offered us some cocktails or desserts, but at that stage, we were far from interested. What was most disappointing wasn’t just the poorly cooked food, but rather the manager’s apparent indifference and lack of effort to address our unsatisfactory experience. I was unsure why I decided to order the pork chop, especially since I'm not usually a fan of them, but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was! The others in my group ordered the butcher's cut, and it was fantastic as well. I was genuinely impressed with the quality of the food. I will definitely be coming back! The block is consistently a good experience and tonight was no exception. The service was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. The bacon jam here is amazing. If you get something and it's an option to add it, do it. It's that good. I opted for the burger tonight with a side salad. Filling without being heavy. My spouse had the pork and dumplings. It was rich and really filling. We will definitely be back.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant on a lively Saturday night. We were seated in only 20 minutes, which I thought was quite impressive. The staff was friendly and welcoming, all dressed in adorable sweaters. I highly recommend the blow feta! Our burgers were extremely fresh and served hot. This restaurant is excellent—one of my top choices for dinner dates with my wife. The food is consistently delicious, and their specials are always fresh, creative, and outstanding. The staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and takes my wife's AIP dietary needs seriously. Overall, it’s a fantastic experience every time we visit.
Fantastic happy hour! It was quite busy, but the service was excellent. The jalapeño tequila margarita was unique and definitely needed the salted rim. All the appetizers we tried were delicious, from the fries to the calamari, cheese curds, and shrimp.
The owner, Lea, was quite unkind and verbally confrontational, using inappropriate language. Overall, I would give the food, service, and atmosphere a rating of 1 out of 5.
