We've been for breakfast a few times now. As previously noted, overflow from Angeliques was the reason for the first visit and we stumbled across the place, but now we just prefer The Blue Rooster. I have to agree they have really good coffee and I'm not a big coffee drinker, but I really enjoy it there. Breakfast is well prepared and their bacon is also very tasty, I think it hints of maple. I ask for it crispy and it comes the way I've asked. Poached eggs soft and they are. The servers are very pleasant and seem to hustle as best as they can. I must try to get there for lunch one day. No complaints here that's for sure.
Been here a few times. Its our local favourite place for breakfast as a family. The owner is not the friendliest (sometimes....), specially when she is short staffed. So, be patient. Food is perfect - every time. No complaints. What you order is what you get... Breakfast is clean, perfectly cooked and its 'cooked with care' and you can taste it. Been to lots of other breakfast places but keep coming back to this one. Lunch time - the Chicken club sandwich is amazing!!!
This is my spot for brunch on the weekends. Portion size is awesome ....BIG.... service is great ...has the family feel. Either my partner and i go .. or 8 of us. Tis' a great little place. The options are also great from the bacon eggs sausage ham and pancake special to waffles ... to soups and specials ....The have awesome omelettes too. Thumbs up!!
I have now been to The Blue Rooster at least 4 times........once for breakfast and three times for lunch. The food is excellent, there are huge quantities, and it's a casual comfortable venue. On my last visit, my 4 year old granddaughter was with us and they made her very welcome. I liked the variety of choices on the menu. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Awesome little place for breakfast and lunch. We,like others, stumbled across this when another place was booked up. Have been going to the Blue Rooster ever since. Always have great specials. Servers work hard and check on you. It is starting to become known, so it is getting busy, maybe they will have to expand!
Went there as another place close by is closed on Mondays, so we thought we would give it a try. Walked in, and no one greeted you, was not busy and it took a while to get served, breakfast was average and the place just felt blah... Price was however, comparable to other breakfast places.
Recommended by my son, breakfast was good fast and plentiful. Really worth a visit. Ajax is really lucky to have two very good breakfast spots quite close to each other. Ordered poached eggs medium... done perfectly.
