Having passed the Bollo a multitude of times in the past I decided it was time for a long overdue visit. A dear chum suggested we go for a birthday lunch in my honour and it was swiftly booked. We walked there after visiting the relatively close by Chiswick House but unfortunately got caught in a downpour. So we arrived a little soggy but excited nonetheless. I moved to the area earlier this year and having a roasty on a sunday is my favourite part of the week and after having the vegan wellington at the bollo i’m not sure anywhere else could top it so i’ve been in pretty much every sunday from march november this year. the food is amazing but it’s the staff that really make it so special particularly izzi and stu. Uninterested and unsympathetic management. Came for Mother's Day lunch with my Mum, brother husband. All of us ordered a roast which was fairly standard; the dessert choice was uninspiring so we ordered 1 sticky toffee pud. Whilst waiting to pay the bill the wooden dining chair I was sitting on, collapsed, literally fell apart. I landed unceremoniously on the floor with one of the broken wooden legs digging painfully into me. I cried out in shock and pain, the waitress who'd been serving us was very kind and helped me off the floor and apologised. I felt humiliated and very sore and wanted to leave as soon as possible. We found this place after checking into our Airbnb. We had been in the UK for just a few hours, had spent lots of time either walking or sitting on trains, after a long flight with little rest. We were tired, hungry, and ready to try our first real English food. Staff were kind and helpful, the food was delicious, plentiful, and reasonably priced. Will probably be back before we head back across the pond.

The Sunday Roast was absolutely impeccable. One of the best roasts I have had in a long time! The bar staff member Zoltan was excellent and super attentive. Would 100% recommend this pub to anyone.
We went for a meal on Saturday, we both had fish and chips, massive portions and great service by a lovely Welsh waiter, we'll certainly return

Very good food , excellent and friendly customer service by the bar staff. Chilled environment. I would definitely recommend it .

Fabulous meal here Friday loved the Thai green curry. Such a friendly welcoming pub, lovely staff especially our waiter Jamie!
