We haven 't been here for a while. We really enjoyed our food in the past and this time also nice. Mains arrived hot and came quickly served by a lovely server who asked if we needed anything else and he checked we enjoyed our food. It was very busy I noticed a quiz night so maybe will try lunch time next time. I was impressed I could get a nice vegan pasta and some puddings could be adapted too. If anything to improve for us would be orders from the table than going to the bar which is a hassle for pudding when your all settled after eating the mains! What a find! Lovely atmosphere, had a nice buzz when we visited early evening. We were greeted by Rachel who was very welcoming and friendly. Our drinks were brought to the table (which was good as some places you have to go to the bar) within a few minutes of ordering. Our food was delicious, very tasty and served by friendly staff after a short wait. There’s a large beer garden with a play area and lots of seating, sadly it was too cold to use this time. We will definitely be returning!!
Dropped into the Boot and Shoe for a drink with my wife on Wednesday evening. Lovely friendly reception and service from the staff and great choice of beers and wine. Actually went back on Thursday to play in their quiz night. Great evening (even got free food, which was excellent) with the landlord running proceedings and making it a fun, enjoyable evening.
Went with my partner for a meal. The food was great and service even better. Maiya was an absolute star at her customer service as one who worked in this industry before. The pub was busy and she still came and checked up on us and made sure that everything was okay, which it was. Will definitely come again!

Booked a table and had a few drinks and meal. Staff were excellent and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Had the Sea Bass dish and it was excellent. Service quick and food reasonably priced. Would definitely return and try something else off the menu as there was loads of choice.
Undercooked and cold chips with a tasteless steak sandwich for myself. My grandson’s cheeseburger arrived with no cheese and returned overcooked and the fries cold. My wife’s pie pastry was thick and not cooked and her chips raw. Service terrible and a disgusting place to eat
Great meal, lovely friendly staff. I really enjoyed our trip there this evening. Everything was good, although a few more vegetarian options such as Beyond Burgers would make it complete. . Not been for many years until tonight definitely back on the radar.
Absolutely atrocious food. It was cold tasteless. Was there for a bit of food with our grandson who is 5 and even his burger was horrendous. Personally I’d sack the chef and manager if that’s all the **** you can serve

Turned up on whim and was pleasantly surprised at the speed and quality of service and food. Do not miss the filly steak and fish and chips.....an absolute delight.
Fantastic Christmas dinner. Well done to everyone especially Ang, Mia and Katie. But all all the kitchen staff too. Great venue looked after by John and Rachel.
