We made an online reservation just half an hour before our arrival, and when we arrived right on time, we were informed that they couldn't accommodate us. A large party was taking place at the time, and I noticed that the reservation book had significant crossings out for a pre-booked event that overlapped with our reservation. They suggested a later time, but with such a big group just getting settled, I declined, fearing there would be a long wait for our food. The restaurant management really needs to improve the coordination between online bookings and the actual dining situation.
My husband's chicken liver pâté tasted pre-packaged, and when he requested it, it was simply slid onto the table in foil packaging straight from the fridge, rather than being served on a proper dish. However, our steaks were quite good, as was the wine and apple crumble. It was a bit odd that the red wine was served in white wine glasses.
We’ve dined here a few times, but this visit was a bit disappointing. The burger was cold, the caper cheese was hard, and the portion of bourguignon was small. We’ve had this meal before, and it was much better then.
Lovely food, well presented with generous portions. Service was very friendly and efficient. Food good value, wine could be more reasonably priced. Overall a great experience.

The dining experience was average, and the prices were steep for what was offered. Additionally, a mandatory service fee of 10% for food and drinks was added to the bill.
