I visited yesterday for my workplace's Christmas meal, and we all had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the atmosphere in the pub was lovely. Additionally, the staff were very friendly. I want to extend a special thank you for accommodating my vegan diet. I called ahead, and the chef prepared a beautifully crafted 3-course menu that showed great thought and care. The addition of the curry was a delightful festive touch! I highly recommend this establishment to everyone and I look forward to my next visit!
I had not been here for many years but with friends we are trying to find a replacement for our Saturday lunch venue. So I have to say the it was excellent. Good was absolutely perfect. I had the pork belly, which was my favourite menu item from earlier visits. It was the best i have had for a long time. 11/10. My friends are equally delighted with what they had. It was busy but the staff were attentive and cannot be faulted. Highly recommended.
This wasn't our planned stop, for walking in this fantastic area of natural beauty. Despite not having a reservation, the two of us were given a warm welcome and seated on a good sized table for two. This is clearly a great place to eat. So for a larger group I'd suggest making a reservation. I will be returning again.
The staff were genuinely friendly and provided excellent service. The food menu was a bit limited, so I opted for two starters instead of a main course. I dined here for dinner, and the restaurant was beautifully decorated for the jubilee. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. We ordered the pie of the day and a pizza. It's a charming local spot that offers local beer on tap and features local wine on its menu.

great eating great drinks staff very attentive, but not in their face I would recommend it to everyone, even if they have small children or even dig all welcome we will go back
