I visited for the first time today, October 15th, and based on the positive reviews, I took my aunt out for her birthday Sunday lunch. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The restaurant felt more like a café with its plastic tablecloths and artificial flowers. The food was subpar; the roast pork was fatty and lacked flavor, the parsnips were cooked but not browned, and the usual cheap vegetables—carrots and broccoli—were nearly inedible. We even had to request roast potatoes, which still needed more cooking. The Yorkshire pudding was the only decent item. The meal came smothered in gravy, likely to mask the low quality of the pork. What a fantastic find. This place is so good I felt compelled to write a review for the first time ever. For a foodie like myself this place is heaven, I normally find at least something I am less keen on but here literally everything is perfect. If you are reading this review to decide on whether to visit this restaurant take my word for it you will not be disappointed. Enjoy. Not been here in a while, have been coming to The Boulevard for many years, and I will still always choose to come here. Never Dissapointed. I enjoyed a delightful dinner, with the total cost coming to around £100 per person. The food was impressive, earning a solid 4 out of 5 stars, as was the attentive service and inviting atmosphere, both also rated at 4 out of 5. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience!
