I have been going here for a while now for a few drinks with friends. I can tell you the last review is way off. This place is a clean friendly place to go,to eat, drink and shoot pool, as well as watch sports on their nice tv sets. Yes they have good looking nice bartenders, and I like Ingrid and Amanda the best. They are very kind to me, and very professional as well.. They have Costa Rican food and American fare at reasonable prices as well.
1. The atmosphere is not at all like a Costa Rican restaurant; it feels more like a bar. 2. They wouldn’t accept the restaurant.com gift card, saying that the ownership changed in March. If that’s the case, please remove your listing from the website! I wouldn’t have chosen to come here otherwise. 3. The food was mediocre. The tacos were essentially fried taquitos with very little meat, served with a large portion of French fries.
This place may not be fancy, but I absolutely loved it. I've always enjoyed dive bars, and it's a shame I don't live closer. I met a local friend there, and we had a great time together. Our bartender, Sarah, was incredibly nice and even treated me to dinner! She was attentive and made the experience enjoyable. I definitely plan to return!
