My wife, her sister, her boyfriend, and I visited this restaurant as part of a pub crawl in Lewes. This was our designated stop for food. We ordered a sharing platter and a serving of fries. The food at this establishment is excellent, with generous portions and fantastic service. Our order was delivered within ten minutes, hot and delicious. I have no complaints about this pub whatsoever.
We were only in Lewes for a a few days but appreciated this pub as being a genuine free house serving a wide range of excellent beers plus a wide range of excellent food all supplemented wit excellent friendly staff.
A very friendly pub, with loyal regulars at the bar, and plenty of diners. I always have a pint of Harvey's and a sausage sarni, the sausages from Frank Richards the butchers, the best in Lewes

Very good food. You were greeted in a very friendly manner when you walked in and the hospitality was accordingly. It is cozy and well maintained.

A charming pub that I always make sure to stop by when in Lewes. They serve fantastic ale and the best steak pie around.
