A lot has changed in 7 years... I retract my prior praise for this establishment. I have been coming here for nearly 15 years, and the service the last few visits was dismal. Most recently, we arrived and were seated at a table quickly. We were handed menus, then sat at the table 30 minutes without having anyone take our order. We ended up leaving and hitting up Cinco's. Other things I've learned about this place were that they no longer have bands upstairs. For some reason they found it more practical to have virtual golf? (Need to fact check this). Had a great happy hour at the brick yesterday! Annabelle was our bartender and she made great fresh fruit puree mocktail mule drinks for my friend and I (we are both pregnant but wanted to feel special). Food was absolutely delicious and surprised us how quickly it came out of the kitchen. Got the Agli Olio pasta which was the perfect amount of garlic and the Rodeo burger which was a HUGE portion and super good. Finished off with the ginormous chocolate stuffed churros served with ice cream that were downright heavenly and made my baby dance with happiness. Food here is great. The staff is always very nice and attentive. Atmosphere is that of a typical pub. Their prices are pretty solid, and wing night is popular. In the past the food had been hit or miss but lately, it has been really strong. It is a bar, for sure, and can get quite busy and loud, especially when there's live music, so something to consider if you're heading in late, or have kids with you. Otherwise, typically kid friendly and can handle some larger parties with a reservation.
We had a private function here this weekend. The build your own taco bar was a big hit, and the entire staff could not have been more helpful. From menu suggestions to keeping within budget to going above and beyond to make sure we were happy, and all with a smile. I especially want to thank our server Hannah. She never stopped! Excellent pub with a great Sunday brunch. And no wait like every other downtown breakfast spot. They may not have as many offerings, but what they do offer is the best you can get. Their corn beef hash is the best I have had. And I love their regular ****** Mary. Feeling adventurous, they have fancy ones too.
The Brick is a MUST when in Dover. We go out of our way every time we're in town from Texas to visit. The atmosphere is KILLER, the servers always make you feel welcomed, and the food/menu is the best in town. Highly recommend and is GREAT for special occasions.
We had not been here in a very long time and I am so happy we gave it a try. It was awesome. The wings and quesadillas were outstanding. The service was fast and friendly. We will be back!!!
My ONLY complaint is the hot sauces don't have lables, you have to guess if it's the ghost pepper or whatever other sauces are. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
