great pub, great service, great food. we have booked and although they were busy, they created us an ideal table for our party of greeting when we arrived and during our meal was the service first class. with great beer and excellent eating we all enjoyed a really pleasant lunch. very happy to recommend and thanks to the team service in these days is so often bad, so always great to be able to recognize formal large service.
it was a typical English pub with a difference. the view of the sea was great. the people took out a glasses on a Sunday afternoon and sat on the rasen opposite and relax. it was almost surreal in its beauty. eating was excellent. I recommend the haddock with creamy potato. really yummy. great part!
Found this place on the internet while looking for somewhere close to m25 to eat that wasn't a device station. The reviews just don't do it justice! Can't remember when iv had such a nice meal out that also didn't cost the earth but I recommend booking if you can! Both me and my food baby thank you!
we love this pub, it is a great meeting point for us our family who travel from the other side of kent, essex and hampshire. it has a great atmosphere, is child and dog friendly the staff are beautiful and the best of all eating is grat! the only negatiw is that there are no baby change facilities?
I love this pub. great location with view over the lake. had the bark meat, guinness and mushroom cake for lunch. wow! so fresh. beautiful eating, can not recommend this pub enough. make sure they pay a visit
varied menu, so hard to choose a dish, need to come again and again with new friends never let us service and personal so friendly eating excellent beautiful environment in summer time 10 of 10 each time
a great old pub in a beautiful land, but only a few minutes from which we were quite regular visitors in the last few years and eating and service was always excellent. highly recommended.
if they want an excellent beer, then it's their place. they have harvey's best bitter gravitation, which was poured out barrels that were placed behind the bar.
Lunch today no faults amazing service, food and pub from start to finish highly recommended. Will return .
