Called in for lunch having heard that they recently started servibg food. To be honest wasn't expecting much choice and was pleasantly surprised to see quite a bit of choice for both breakfast and lunch. We chose a burger each. I picked chargrilled chicken and my husband chose Kinda Hot Kinda Not burger. I thought mine was very good but my husband said his was one of the nicest chicken burgers he had ever had. Would definitely recommend and call again.
The food at this restaurant is incredible! The portions are huge and definitely worth the price. The staff is friendly and provides excellent customer service. I can't put into words how happy I am with my experience here. I am returning on Sunday and have already booked a table for Valentine's Day. I highly recommend this place! Thank you to the staff for a fantastic night.
I am a local and want this restaurant to succeed. I stopped in for a drink with my wife and child, planning to have a meal as well. However, I was disappointed by the disgusting atmosphere outside, littered with cigarette butts, and the tables around us were surrounded by uncleared drinks which put me off.
Always liked it here for drinks as it's a lovely pub in the area. They've started serving food and wow.... the burgers are to die for. Seriously brilliant. The service was great and good prices too. Recommend highly!!
Even though I swore to never return to this place after my ex cheated on me there back when it was the Deg I thought I'd give it another chance. Great decision since this is a great little boozer. P.S. F you Shanice
Popped in yesterday with my wife to try out the food. Very impressed, obviously home made, full of flavours and massive portions. We'll be back. Staff were friendly and there was a general nice vibe.
The restaurant is decent, but like most bars these days, it is on the pricey side. They offer food options, but we have not sampled them yet as we only stopped in for a couple of beers.
Grubby pub with cold food. Why the idea of buy one get one free on Sunday lunches, we wanted three dinners and the barman said we might as well have the fourth...lots of waste.
The Broad Oak is by far the best pub/ bar in the area and now they do very high quality food. I haven't had it but I hear their breakfast menu is very good.
