Excellent pub with very friendly and welcoming staff. We went for a Sunday roast dinner the beef was excellent and there were lots of vegetables. Very good real ales. Seating in the bar or the restaurant and some covered seating outside too. I would probably describe the restaurant as comfortable rather than cosy. Best to check opening times before you go.
Lovely little pub. Dog friendly and a great selection of real Ale. We had the Haddock and chips, and it was soo good. Real chips (fresh not frozen), the batter was so light and fish cooked perfectly. Excellent service too, so we'll definitely be coming back.
Didn't have any food. Like the old Bass memorabila around the pub. My father-in-law used to be a drayman. Traditional old style pub, good atmosphere.
