This is the traditional ice cream spot for those that want cream based confectionery. I keep returning to this ice cream mecca in Chicago. Everything is homemade and delicious!! Atmosphere is what you want in an old time ice cream parlor — the sweet smell of fresh waffle cones, great ice cream made on-site, music and uniforms to match the era! With fall/winter coming up, they have homemade hot chocolate and espresso drinks with steamed ice cream that I look forward to trying! Their pies, brownies and other baked goods are down right addicting!!
Wow. This was my first time here. Great ice cream in an old movie theater. I mean, it doesn't look like a theater anymore but they left a lot of the architectural details. So it's super quaint. And all their stuff is homemade. Great. Super knowledgeable staff as well. They were very talkative and welcoming. This is my latest favorite ice cream shoppe. Don't miss it! 10 stars!
So disappointed, just got my order delivered. Order all the time and used to get these impressive ice cream, but today i got these cheap looking plastic cups filled 2/3 of the way. I will just go to Baskin Robbins from now on cuz it's embarrassing what i got. I'd rather have you raise your prices than downgrade your product. Too bad

Brown Cow is one of those hometown treasures that you hope stays forever. They make their own ice cream in house and it is rich and delicious. Sometimes there's a line (a testament to their popularity) but the service is always friendly. If you're in a hurry, grab a pint or two from the cooler to scoop at home.
ICE CREAM! What's not to love?! Love all the flavors I've tried and it's really hard to have a favorite when they introduce seasonal ones — it's like being the indecisive kids that claims each one is my favorite, because it's that hard to pick! Never a let down here, great service and ice cream
