Stayed at the Bull to present at an executive meeting first thing in the morning the room was very comfortable with lots of plug points and lighting options. Although I would have preferred a tub, the bathroom had a large walk in shower with lots of hot water and pressure. Room was quiet at the end of a long corridor. Hotel itself is beautifully decorated with lots of light but still warm and cosy. Outdoor spaces were much appreciated. Reception was helpful and available. Food was good and felt home made, not prepackaged. Bar and Lounge service was prompt and friendly. Comfy chairs and tables for informal meetings and good seminar rooms with reliable technology. The rooms at The Bull Hotel are spacious and comfortable. Checking in was quick and easy, especially since I was able to do a preliminary check-in online. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options, high-quality ingredients, and attentive staff. The rooms were clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. If I am in the area again, I would definitely choose to stay at The Bull Hotel. Overall, I would rate the rooms, service, and location a perfect 5 out of 5.
I hadn't been to this restaurant in a while because the food quality had declined. However, I'm happy to report that the food and staff are back to their previous excellent standards. I will definitely be returning.
