Always eaten here ,we have a caravan at primrose valley, and always recommend bull in to our friends and guests, not no more ,the main course was nice ,but we had garlic mushrooms as a starter ,which we have always enjoyed before,this time they were shocking and tasted of vinegar and not of garlic ,we told the waiter ,we were not happy with the starter and we couldn't eat it ,when I asked for the bill I was charged for the 2 starters,I asked 2 speak to the manager, who came out of the kitchen ,she was rude and said I had to pay ,NEVER AGAIN BULL IN
Me and my partner travelled from Grimsby and were staying near Killerby. We were struggling to find somewhere nice to eat and saw this place on Google and thought the food looked nice so drove here. I ordered the burger and my partner ordered the fish. The burger was the best burger I’ve had in a long time and my partner said his fish was the best he’s had (and we’re from a fishing town) The staff were so lovely too! What a find! Lovely traditional country pub a couple of minutes from Filey. Excellent home cooked food; ‘drunken cow’ was the best steak and ale pie I’ve ever had! The rest of the family loved their food too (Mediterranean pie, stuffed chicken, burger, chicken nuggets . Really friendly staff with a wonderful and hilarious chef Prices unbelievably reasonable. The food was delightful and the staff were friendly and very accommodating. They quickly rearranged tables so that a group of five ladies and three dogs could sit together. The fresh fish paired with excellent chips was fantastic! Price per person: £10–20. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5. I highly recommend the Fish and Chips!
The restaurant has a delightful atmosphere, and the chef personally spoke with us to assist in selecting our meals. The prices are reasonable, and the ambiance is lovely. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 and the atmosphere a 4.
Call up last minute for a table, very helpful and managed to find a table. Great service food friendly staff, children welcome, cosy village pub. Will go again.
