I needed a beef roast last minute and when I finally made it to wegmans after work, the gentleman was already cleaning the meat show case. I explained to Michelle my situation and she took it upon herself to go in the back and cut me the most perfect roast that I can cook today for my small get-together. Over the last six months. At least once or twice every two weeks I come home and chips that I have bought have a broken seal. Rice cakes have a broken seal. Indicates a very bad rodent problem in the store. I called to address it months ago. They offerred me a refund and I said no I want this to be looked into. I now I will be calling the health department.
I really love wegmans. However the past couple of times, this store had had a foul odor near the lunch meat section. When I pass it, it sours my desire to continue my shop. Also, many items have been expired on the shelves. An entire shelf of hot dog rolls was two weeks expired. I expect more from wegmans.
Pre COVID they were by far and away the best. Now they're just a shell of what they used to offer to distinguish themselves as being #1. Outrageously priced for most things, oh but wait are they to blame or is the current presidency..

The portion of ham was small and the potatoes were undercooked. The butternut squash was bland; using yams would have been a better choice.
We love going to the train and rooster store! (According to my 5 yr old). Always good produce and the store is organized so well.
First time here. Nice store to explore for special occasions. Next party I have this store will probably have what I need.
