I had the pleasure of visiting this hidden gem for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. My partner chose it randomly and we were absolutely thrilled with our experience. We went in with our 11-month-old baby and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, quickly getting us a high chair and catering to our needs while we tended to our little one. The food was delicious and generous, and we will definitely be returning next time we are in Geelong. If you're looking for a great meal or a relaxing drink, I highly recommend stopping by this lovely restaurant.
The old bush inn is dead but don't let that fool you it's still a nice chilled out spot to have a drop on a sunny day. The feel is new and modern without tab in sight, to my surprise, craft beers on tap and the food is still spot on. I do miss the old decor of the outback theme and the old owners but with with the new owners as nice as the old, this place is still one of my favorite places to eat or wet the mouth in Geelong
With sadness I'm sorry to report (as of June 2016) that this pub is due to close due to the sale of the premises. I've been here many times; it is a great traditional pub, with generous hearty meals, value for money and friendly service. The staff genuinely care about your experience. A good selection of beers on tap. Bar games are also played on some nights, so you might find yourself staying for an ale or 3.
I had a wonderful lunch at The Inn Hotel today. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. A special shoutout to the young lady who took care of us. Have been for a drink and a meal recently and wasn't disappointed. Meal was very good, selection of beers was good although they do lack old school beers on tap. Pleasant surrounds and friendly staff so it won't be my last visit.
Went to have some dinner but couldn't find any. Tried a drink but realised I was the wrong demographic So I thought I needed the toilet but the dried vomit on the 19th century urinal dried every thing up
The service at this restaurant is excellent. The food is delicious and the portions are large. I highly recommend trying the prawn tacos, they are amazing!
