This location was recommended by the Circle K crew from across the street. They suggested the $1.99 tacos. The tacos were ok. The staff was nice and the place seemed busy as I watched locals come and go with their greetings, small talk and salutations. I can’t really comment as to the quality, taste and value of the food being served. The $1.99 taco special isn’t food I wanted to judge them on. Give the locals your money before you give it to the corporate/franchise restaurants if you can.
While the Mexican food is delicious I've discovered a hidden gem. This places American food is out of this world phenomenal. It's just like my mother's when she owned the Mesa Cafe umpteen years ago ..liver and onion perfectly cooked everytime 2 large pieces perfect bacon and onion ...hamburger stks amazing....sandwiches and burgers to die for ..salads shrimp basket do yourself a favor and try it
The food was the most blandest Mexican food I have ever had. The salsa tasted like spicy V8 so you have to add lime and salt just to get the taste to work enough to drown your food in it. The service was good and the server was friendly. I hope this helps warn travelers to avoid this restaurant.
Chorizo Breakfast Burrito with Home Fries was Great! Ordered Home Fries in my Burrito but order had them outside. Prompt service despite it being very crowded. Not much atmosphere wise. This restaurant was recommended to me by a Navajo women. And now I am recommending Camaleon Cafe to you. The sixteen people that I brought with me also give Mr. Tomas and his all-star crew a thumbs up.
It was very pleasant our waitress reminded me of my Auntie Lillian We gave her a huge tip she was so sweet and just our coffee cup ful. We like home cooking and friendly family attomosphere.
Got seated right away by a very nice waitress. Food was delicious and plenty of it. Highly recommend and will come back when we are in Holbrook.
