The Camel Pub - Tisch resevieren

I was at the Camel with my wife Saturday night. It’s one of our favourite pubs, but don’t away get the chance to go there. What happen that evening, was unpleasant for me, my wife any anyone who witnessed it. When I spoke with the...manger (a few days later), she was shocked by what has happened and very apologetic. She reassured me that the Camel is not that kind of Pub. I believed her and all my previous visits to the Camel had been really enjoyable. I hope that my review goes some way in alleviate any concerns people may have about the pub and its staff. Lastly, I would also like to thank the women (seating behind us) who checked on us, that night.

Was at the Camel on Saturday night, looked like a nice pub especially on a wet night. But the night left me and my friends feeling very uncomfortable. Saw an Asian guy (he still had his NHS id badge on his belt, must have come...from work), there with his girlfriend get racially abuse by white guy, we could hear it a few table away. And the bar staff did nothing, worse than, they call him over by his first name and then got him another drink. Cannot believe how complicit the staffs were, in creating an unsafe place. We are never going back.

Always loved The Camel and called in NYE for a couple…got chatting to so many people, got drunk, went home happy…it’s a creative, boozy, cockney atmosphere. Just brilliant. Sat next to Debbie the manager who was having a great time with her very gorgeous friends…didn’t...stay til’ midnight- maybe next year. Thanks Debbie and everyone!

If you put everything you really love in a pub into a pie The Camel would come out a tasty everytime. My second visit to this hidden East London gem with of my old mates and cor blimey, strike a light it was...**** marvelous. Wandle Ale, Pies to die for and a right lovely welcome. great pub with a good atmosphere, vibe and especially soundtrack! many choices of cakes we had steak and ale and venison and speck were both good with delicious pastries, although steak and ale was the favorite. very friendly service. heavy food, but solid

One of the few authentic East London pubs left, warm atmosphere, lovely proprietors and of course incredible pies, one of the best mushroom pies I've ever had.

The staff always accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere was family friendly. We had a and year old with us. The meat pies and beer were delicious.

Great London pub, great food and welcoming staff highly recommend. Will definitely return the pies are the best in London.
