Not our favorite Capital Grille experience. This was our first at this location and we will probably not be returning. We were told of a special of a Wagyu NY Strip and lobster tail for and ordered it. Steak was originally undercooked, but was remedied, but the steak itself was not good. Full of fat and chewy. When our bill arrived we were told that the lobster tail was extra. We were never told that and I would never have ordered a steak for I know it is a more expensive place, but for any steak is not anything I would ever consider. When I questioned it I was told that he was sorry I did not understand that the lobster was not included, but that was the price. I paid, but will never return
This is a well run, patron oriented experience in dining. The chef/partner Kevin Lee was greeting all guests and made it a point to visit with us to discuss the changing Tampa scene in dining. The stories about how the Capital Grille works very hard to give its guests the best dining experience are much appreciated. The waiters many of whom know us, always come over to say hello. It makes it a comfortable environment and we are pleased to take our out of town guests here as we did. Their comment was how fresh every component of our meal was. That sums it up!
The capital grill in Naples is where we first met., almost years ago. The food and service is always outstanding. I also enjoy its quiet elegance, but I was a bit disappointed in that I had been saving “open table” points and looked forward to using them at the Capital Grill, but my plus points were not applied to our check. We celebrated my birthday, and as always, Capital Grille made it a special occasion ! The South African Lobster tail is a treat, large and prepared perfectly. Our fav Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
It was an amazing experience. The setting was a old money type of vibe, I loved it. Food was delicious and the service was exceptional. I would definitely come again!
The food was fantastic, ambience was mediocre as we were in a back room, service from Bill was great(!! but overall seemed pricey for 4 people.
