This is place is good and has the ability to be really great. Overall a good experience . Getting there is not for the faint of heart. Narrow and somewhat busy roads lead you to a very nice looking pub with an amazing 5 star French theme (decor). If you can, walk or take an Uber. The front of house met us with a great sense of hospitality and sent us to our reserved table through the bar. Seats were comfy and spacious. What a fantastic find in Sunningdale! The food is excellent, and the staff is not only friendly but also very experienced. It's located in a charming village setting. The landlord, Nick, along with the staff members Heidi and Charlotte, as well as others at the bar, provided a first-class experience for our small group of visiting chauffeurs on both days - Tuesday, June 20th and Wednesday, June 21st. The menu is great and the preparation of the food is very good but the staff who served us this midweek were not at all welcoming. We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant today. We arrived just before the kitchen closed, and they were more than happy to accommodate us. We were a large group, and everyone had a great time! It's definitely one of our new favorites.
Lovely restaurant and great French food. Service was very good and parking was easy at lunch time. Nice for a special occasion. I had the Foie gras followed by Confit du Canard both were delicious.
