Staff give an amazing service at this restaurant and are super helpful welcoming and friendly. Food is freshly made and delicious too. This is our favourite place to come with family. Vegetarian options: Great choice for my daughter and her family. Parking: There is parking behind the restaurant, on the street and across the road there is another car park Kid-friendliness: Kids are very welcome as is the dog which makes it easier to not have to look for a dog sitter
Fantastic pub. Went on a Monday night and was it probably at about half capacity but the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Food was excellent; big portions and food was hot when it arrived. The staff were very attentive and a good laugh. Good location as well, small car park across the road and 5 mins from the train station. Deffo visit again. Price per person: £10–20
After hours of flying from the US, we arrived in Glasgow and stumbled upon this pub. We decided to stop in for a bite to eat after a long journey. Great place to stop off for lunch or a cuppa and a heat by the fire, as bikers it can be hard to find places with good parking and plenty of room for putting ur jackets and helmets, the cartvale has it all as well as friendly happy to please staff, one of my favourite places now. Better than average pub grub. Good selection of beers. Really friendly and helpful staff. Not part of a pub chain. It can be very noisy at night making it almost impossible to have a conversation. Price per person: £20–30 Recommended dishes: Fish and Chips
