Been here more than a few times and have always had a good time. Drinks are good, standard cocktails with fun spooky names. Ambiance and decor of the place is top notch and super fun. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially on crowded nights, they have gone out of their way to accommodate us. That all being said, we sat at the bar for the first time last night and it totally dispelled the magic of the place. The bar was absolutely filthy. The back bar had open and empty bottles, cutlery, dish towels, etc strewn about. Drinks were pretty and strong! We had a few dishes and they were pretty good. I liked the atmosphere. It was not crowded at all. Prices were decent. At one point we were left unattended for 20mins or so (This was after I had ordered a drink) I questioned one of the servers and he checked on it aswell as adding more to our order. The new order came out before that drink, which obviously left me believing that the order was never placed. Again they were not crowded and they were well staffed. This is the perfect place to come for a spooky ambiance without sacrificing the quality of the drinks. That being said, each drink we ordered was the right amount of liquor and deliciousness. I like my drinks on the stronger side and this place does it just right. I would definitely come back just to try more of their cocktails. I appreciate that their prices on drinks are on average but of better quality in my opinion. My only reason for docking a star was because the seating we received was kinda terrible. Super fun place Qith cool witch vibe. I have the voodoo limonade and it's pretty good. I would definitely get it back. Also chocolate cream Brulee and it was amazing. We came like 845ish and it seemed a little crowded (on Thursday), but we sat right away. Looks small, but definitely cozy. Eating seems all small bites like appetizer plates, but a friend got the fillet mignon bite and it smelled so good and was also delicious. In any case, somewhere to come back and bring a group to have a small party in their secret space, they also have a secret drink menu that staff will be something repeated from memory so sure to ask it!
I was on a date in Buena Park and she mentioned this place so we ended up for a drink. It's an interesting bar. I felt like I was in a Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings Film lol there were some close paintings on the wall as well as this mirror that had a pretty cool eye. Under the mirror there is a fireplace that boils a witch's roast. You also have a few wild drinks oh a secret room that you can ask to see a fabulous Peek Lol.
Nice place to meet with friends. Eat smaller portions, but was very tasteful. No drinks. Friendly and funny staff and environment. Just wait a long time, make sure you wait for the waitress for yelp. You get 10% discount when dressed for Halloween season.
What unique decor! I was expecting Elvira to walk thru. Beautiful bar, like in merry old England of the 1700's. We had the tastiest turkey meatballs appetizer. They serve specialty drinks and even Creme Brulee! Check them out when you are in Buena Park.
Customer service was Awesome. Food great appetizer size. Drinks are awesome. I tried a few lol wizards cup, the cotton candy one,shot with cactus cooler , and mimosas bottomless. I love the ambience of the place. Definitely going to be back.
