We were in Folkestone for a couple of nights only visited The Chambers twice. Friendly welcome, excellent service and a good meal in the restaurant downstairs. Returned the next night for a SUPERB gig in the Cafe upstairs. Wonderful Blues/Folk Artist from Montreal. A...first class musician performing for an intimate crowd. Don’t know how Chris, the owner, managed to get him, but it was a memorable night and one of the best “unexpected” gigs we have stumbled across in over 25 years . . . Well done to everyone at The Chambers; Folkestone is very lucky to have you !
pretty sure the chambers have a separate vegan menu behind the bar, but now it's all on a menu that's good, but it makes it a little harder to work even though the staff is very good when they have asked. eating is a classic pub duve with a Tex-Mex linette. their cheeze burgers are very satisfied, and although I had no dessert there before they have several options with more on the way, apparently. a little bit is that I didn't notice any vegan ales, all the ones that they put on that I checked weren't veggie friendly, but maybe I missed something.
chambers have many possibilities for vegetarian and vegan. the coffee shop offers milk alternative and delicious vegan tasty and the food options in the pub below are brilliant! the workers are incredibly courteous and knowledgeable, they offer vegan cheese alternatives for some of their main dishes and regularly update their specificities that can be made vegan. I had the enchilada with vegan cheese followed by frozen cheesecake and would definitely recommend!
16 of us went in a lunch time for beers and snacks. Had a brilliant time the hosts are exceptional nothing too much trouble. The food is very tasty and reasonably priced. Loved it there and will definitely be returning. We couldn’t make it but...that evening they had a silent disco. Every one has headphones with their personal choice of music . we loved the friendly, entertaining atmosphere here. has not caught the names of our server, but they were wonderfully attentive and very efficient. the food was tasteful, with good portion size and sold to reasonable praises. warm relaxed ambiente during lunch and fun and friendly in the evening. when we returned. Top-notch hospitality.
new to folkestone, but found this while looking for a coffee shop. very friendly staff, we all had coffee and cake, which was very nice. clean toilets with ladies products in a basket that was a nice note, also free ice water that had a...sign that invites them to help themselves. very impressed.
We are 16 friends from Essex who meet up at the chambers every time we visit Folkestone.Fantastic place ,fantastic food and drink and absolutely fantastic landlords Chris and Liz, can't do enough for you.Looking forward to our next visit.
we know the opposite not very well and that looked good to eat with some tables in the sun outside. we had luck and enjoyed good toasties and coffee with friendly service. will certainly return. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food is very good, they used to do a chilli challenge which was popular. I wait for the return of the Live Music. The staff are very friendly. Do not talk about Cheese :
