Booked for lunch, great Sunday roast again but had a couple of big groups in which is fine but staff seemed to pay more attention to the large groups rather than all guests. We go often as local but didn’t once get spoken to once after meal served and after waiting for over 30 minutes from finishing meal still no waiting staff to clear away dishes or offer dessert menu despite the waiting staff checking on the big group of diners so got up and paid and left. More attention needs to be paid to all customers however small the group.
Very Disappointed..Stayed in there Accommodation for a night whilst visiting for a family Party..Over priced for Standard of accommodation..very basic and in need of an Upgrade.. damp smelling..£95 for 1 night is not value for money especially without Breakfast included..Also very expensive in the Bar..didn't have food although what I seen served looked fabulous but had a drink whilst waiting for Taxi and was charged just shy of £25 for 4 drinks
Popped in on way back from shopping in Blandford and had so much choice on the menu I had to stop after page two as I was getting too confused as what to have. Such a great choice. My food when it came was piping hot and delicious and so was my friends. She had chips with hers and they weee probably the best chips I’ve tasted. We’ll done to all of you
Wide choice on menu, well cooked and presented and served by friendly staff. Good selection of fresh vegetables. Liked the idea of a choice of small or large portions.
Lovely Sunday roast. Food was hot and fresh with a good choice of meats or Vegetarian options. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Gets busy so worth booking.

Lovely staff, good range of drinks. Didn’t get to try the food as they do not serve food after lunch on a Sunday. Lovely atmosphere and dog friendly.
Had a wonderful Sunday Lunch Very tasty roast pork with crunchy crackling. Service very fast and staff friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed it.
